Hello hooman! I'm Surry, a furr-tastic feline who’s been on a journey that could make even a dog cry. Don't be appalled by my past, I'm here to tell you my tale of pawsitivity and resilience. When I was rescued, I was more 'meow' than 'me-wow' - a mere skeleton, battling a terrible infection. But, fear not! My human helped me put the 'treat' back into treatment, providing me with round-the-clock care that had me purring in no time. And now, at a spunky 1 year and 5 months old, I've made the most purr-fect recovery. You could say I'm a kitten at heart. I love to chase my tail and romp with my fellow felines, always up for a good game of chase. And when I'm not indulging in feline frolics, you'll find me bird watching. Oh, how I love to twitch my whiskers at those flittering feathers outside the window. It's my own version of 'Catflix and Chill'! While I may be a bit coy when we first meet (no hissing, I promise), I just need a little scratch under the chin to break the ice. Soon enough, you'll find me curling up in your lap, purring away to glory. I'm a lover, not a fighter - unless you're a laser pointer, then it's on like Donkey Kong! My life may have started out on the rough side, but now I'm ready to find a forever home that matches my vibrant spirit. Could you be the hooman for me? This kitty is currently in a loving foster home and has been tested negative for FIV/FELV, microchipped, has age-appropriate vaccinations, and has been spayed/neutered.
