Meet Hospice Adoption - Jacoby
Hospice adoption: Jacoby is a soon to be 12 year old Beagle looking for a retirement/hospice home. Jacoby has a high grade (4-5/6) heart murmur and will eventually develop heart failure.

He has several very large fatty tumors, but they are not causing issues, and we have opted not to put him through surgery due to the severity of his heart murmur.

His bloodwork and increased water intake also leads towards Cushings Disease.

According to Jacoby, he is perfectly fine. He is friendly, lively, and loves his food and treats. This boy lost his home when his owner went into assisted living and we would love for him to find a new home for the holidays. A home where someone is home more than not is preferred as this boy needs more frequent potty breaks.

Jacoby lived with another Beagle who he got along with well, though they could argue over food. Beagles are foodies so no real surprise there.

We have no knowledge of any history with cats or young children. Jacoby has been vaccinated, tested negative for heartworm/tick diseases, is neutered, chipped, has had full bloodwork and had a dental last year.
