What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
11 year old purebred German Shorthaired Pointer. Owned since a puppy. Comes from a hunting bloodline. He is a sweet dog with an instinctive intelligence. I am looking to rehome Cooper with a loving family.
Our life has changed to where he lost acreage and lives a more solitary life with increasing kennel stays. I have become convinced he deserves a better life where he is an integrated member of an active and loving family.
Pros: Non-mischievous or destructive. Crate, e-fence, remote collar, and dog-door trained. House
trained, loves being outside “hunting” at the park, hiking, camping, and running. Has been my running partner for years and still does 4+ mile runs.
Cons: You must understand the breed needs a “job” or regular exercise.
