My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

FIRST STEPS: Please visit https://www.save-a-mutt.org/adoption-application/ to fill out an application - a Petfinder Inquiry is not the adoption process. We don't do meet and greets until applications have been approved. All our dogs are located IN Washington State - we are a local foster based rescue and no transport from another state required. :) Thanks!

Meet Bodhi, his name means 'awakening enlightenment.' He and his littermates are just the sweetest, fattest, puppies. They are now about 3 months old. Body is the only boy and in the middle for size between his two sisters. DNA indicated they would likely be anywhere between 50-85 pounds - quite a range. They are a crazy mix of breeds, but mostly bully.

These are very sweet puppies, friendly and curious. Of course everything is new, and they are adjusting well. They are pretty quiet, and seem only to bark when playing. These have done so good in their crate training. They are sleeping through the night and even putting themselves in the crate during the day after play time. Bodhi is a beefcake.

This puppy is neutered, microchipped and vaccinated to appropriate age when they go home. They will need final puppy shots, including rabies at 16 weeks. Puppies are good with dogs, cats, kids and more. Being a puppy, they will need lots of training, including housebreaking. Remember, puppies are cute, but they have sharp teeth, need to be fed 3 times a day and poop... a lot!

Each dog goes home with a goody bag including collar/leash, toys, chews, Kong, and more. You will receive all medical records, microchip transfer form and other paperwork at the time of adoption.

Save-A-Mutt requires a training contract and $100 refundable deposit (depending on previous dog experience) on our larger breed puppies. You must be willing to start socializing and training as soon vaccinations are completed at 16 weeks. You pick a trainer in your area, and upon completion of a 6+ week training class, we will refund the deposit.

Adoptions typically take place in Arlington. This puppy is ready for it's forever home!

Adoption fee is $475 + $100 refundable training deposit. Save-A-Mutt is a registered 501c3 and half of your adoption fee may be tax deductible.

Our adoptions are typically done Monday - Saturday, we are closed on Sunday’s to give our volunteers at least one day off. You must be available to do meets and adoptions during that time frame. We can make acceptions only with the approval of the foster home.

Please note, we have approximately a 300 mile adoption radius - Portland OR area and Vancouver BC is the farthest north. We don’t ship dogs, once approved you must pick them up in Snohomish County, WA. Canadian adopters must be able to come to Stanwood WA to pick up your puppy.
