Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Miss Vada, previously called Parvati/Vati, is the sweetest eight-month-old pup I have ever met. She is a Corgi/Terrier mix, currently weighs about 30 lbs., and will top out between 35 and 40 lbs. once fully grown. She needs a new home because our schedules do not permit us to provide her with the extra attention she needs.
Vada is quite timid but warms up once she knows you. She had a truly tough past before being taken in by us. Vada is gentle, kind, cuddly, and listens well. She loves to wrestle and play with other dogs or cuddle next to you on the couch.
Housetraining is in progress, and Vada has learned to sit. She is fine being out of the kennel overnight, and if you want a sleeping companion, she will gladly warm up your feet all night! Positive reinforcement works well with her, and she also thrives on loving attention. Vada is great with other animals and kids.
She would do best in a home with a couple or someone single with no other pets or children, as she needs patience and a calm household to become the best dog she can be. She is always ready for loving cuddles.
She is up to date with vaccinations, and she is spayed and microchipped. She has no food allergies. Toys and treats are great rewards when she masters new behaviors.
Vada will come to you with a kennel, toys, collar, leash, and her food and water bowls. Medical records will be provided to her adopter, and she is on pet insurance. Everything will be transferred to her new owners. There is a modest adoption fee – we want to know she is in a loving home that will be able to provide a quiet and stable environment.
