Carnelo is available for rescue or adoption! He’s a 1 1/2 year old 56lb, heart worm negative lab mix that was an owner surrender, along with 3 other dogs. His family moved and were unable to take them along. Carnelo is fixed and up to date on his vaccines and is ready to get back into a home. His 3 siblings have found their homes, now it’s Carnelo’s turn. Carnelo was a bit overwhelmed when his family left him at the shelter. His siblings have all left for rescue or adoption and Carnelo has been a bit shy. He put his big boy boots on during the latest play group sessions, enjoying the sunshine and the doggy pool, and hanging out with a mixture of male and female dogs. Calissa got Carnelo to run the yard with her, having lots of fun and Carnelo then tried to get smaller pup Helen to play with him. He was very polite with Helen, who was a bit unsure, trying his best play bows to intice her to play. He took Helen’s hint of “not ready yet” and turned his attention to Bubbles and our volunteer. Carnelo had a blast doing zoomies with Bubbles and pup Hollice. Carnelo is the sweetest boy and would make a fine companion.
