My story

MacKinnon (Kinney) is a 2 year old Bernese Mountain Dog! She was born on September 14, 2021 on a farm in Brooks, Georgia, and adopted 8 weeks later by me. From the time she was a tiny puppy Kinney and I went everywhere together. She was well socialized and grew up with a cat. At 1 year old Kinney attended boarding school for two weeks where she mastered how to walk on a leash, remain in place, etc. She is the sweetest dog and wants nothing more than snuggles & attention, but what she truly loves are other dogs. We are rehoming Kinney because our household cannot take on the second dog that she so desperately needs, and we do not have a yard large enough to sustain her need to run. Most Bernese Mountain Dogs have very laid back temperaments, but Kinney is much more like a Golden Retriever in that way. She needs space to run, and lots of playtime. She would do best in a house with multiple dogs. She is great with children and other animals, and the most loyal companion you could ask for!
