My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Caesar, an affectionate 8 1/2-year-old Staffordshire Terrier with a heart of gold and a story that deserves a happy ending. Despite spending the last six years in a kennel, Caesar remains a playful and spirited companion, eagerly awaiting the understanding owner who will appreciate the love he has to give.

Caesar's preference for the company of female dogs adds a unique aspect to his personality, showcasing his social nature. His past experiences include living with kids, and is recommended for a home with teens or older. This loyal pup is ready to share his love with someone who understands the importance of companionship.

Caeser finds joy in the simple pleasures of the outdoors. His playful spirit is a reminder that age is just a number, and he still has plenty of love and energy to share.

Despite his past circumstances, Caesar has not forgotten his manners. He is well-versed in basic commands such as sit, down, stay, and paw, a testament to his intelligence and eagerness to please. His new owner will undoubtedly appreciate his well-behaved nature and the bond they can build through positive interactions.

As Caesar embarks on a new chapter of his life, he yearns for an understanding owner who can provide the patience and love he deserves. His resilience and forgiving nature make him an ideal companion for someone willing to open their heart to a loyal and devoted friend.

Caesar's journey may have had its challenges, but his affectionate demeanor and playful spirit remain intact. With the right person by his side, Caesar is sure to flourish, bringing joy, love, and companionship to a home that is ready to welcome him with open arms. If you are seeking a devoted and grateful companion, Caesar is ready to be the loyal friend you've been searching for

More about this rescue

PupStarz Rescue is an animal welfare group committed to the rescue and rehabilitation of dogs and cats in public shelters at high risk of euthanasia, as well as those in danger of abuse. We are committed to rescuing as many animals as possible, saving over 2,600 dogs and cats since 2015.

PupStarz Rescue is a foster-based rescue, relying on fosters to open their homes and lives to our Animals. Animals in our care receive proper medical care, including alteration, vaccinations, and microchipping.

Following a thorough screening, our animals are placed in loving, responsible, committed forever homes. PupStarz Rescue ensures that adoptions are an appropriate match for both the animal and their new family by educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a furry companion into their lives.

We are committed to the welfare of our "Starz" beyond the adoption process. We maintain open communication with our adopters to ensure a smooth transition, and offer additional support such as positive training techniques.

Founded in 2015, PupStarz Rescue is a non-profit, 501(c)3, no-kill, animal rescue organization.
