My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Smokey grew up with 2 younger kids, unfortunately the family was unable to financially support him. He then went to a home for a week, but the resident dog was unhappy. Smokey deserves a home where he can settle in and be loved. He is a happy, playful dude! He's chill and loves all his dog friends. He is crate trained, but is a good boy and really doesn't need it.

We believe he will do well in a home with kids that are respectful since he is such a big boy. Once he gets to know you, he just wants to be with you. He doesn't like to be left alone for too long, but does not bark or become destructive.

Our adoption process is just like most. Our fees range from $235 to $175 depending on age of the pets. We required a home visit and meet and greet with every family and have a foster to adopt trial period before adopting out our pets. All our pets are spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchips and heartworm tested and have a clean bill of health. We do keep our adoptions local due to the fact that we require home visits for the security of all involved.

We are a 501c3 licensed non profit organization in St Louis, Missouri. We are foster based and have a passion for helping the animals who have been dumped and abandoned in St Louis city. We also work hard to help save those in high kill shelters that are scheduled to be euthanized. We believe in that all pets deserve a second chance and that there is a home for everyone.
