My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tucker is an American Bulldog in his prime. He is well mannered in the house and playful outside. This sweet boy is enthusiastic about meeting new pups and makes "dinosaur screeches -- as his foster puts it, when he wants to meet and play with the other dogs.

His previous foster left Tucker free to roam while away at work and he did amazingly well. Tucker is easy with his new toys and respectful of the house. He is house-trained and knows to take his potty breaks outside.

When it's time to wind down, Tucker is ready to cuddle up and enjoy some snuggle time.

Now that he's at the shelter, he's super stressed and would really love to get back into a home environment. This super snuggly boy is eager to meet you and ready to become part of your family! Follow him on Instagram @TuckertheSnuggleBug

Step two:
Using the provided contact form here or on the APA! website, you can send an inquiry on the animal(s) you are interested in.

Step three:
Our adoption team will connect you to the foster home or someone at the shelter location where the animal is currently living to learn more about the animal and potentially set up a visit!

Step four:
After meeting the animal you would like to adopt, instructions for completing the adoption paperwork, scheduling an appointment, and picking up your new family member will be shared with you!
