Amanda Woods is as stunning on the inside as she is on the out. She is well-mannered, tolerant, and easy going. She gets along with everyone, including other dogs, cats, and children. (While she knows no enemies, she is not overly playful and wouldn’t make for a very good playmate for another dog.) She would enjoy a low to moderate energy home where she can chew a bone in the sun, go on neighborhood walks, and be told she is a good girl 700 times a day. Her only knock is that she doesn’t politely share food with canine companions, but asking for everything seems greedy. This flaw is easily managed by feeding her in a separate room or her kennel. (This includes kibble, treats, and bones.) She enjoys long naps on the couch and you can toss your weighted blanket as her cuddling skills are unmatched.
Amanda Woods is a 2-year-old mixed breed rescued from a high-kill shelter. This dog is current on vaccinations, microchipped, 4DX tested, and spayed. This dog is also tested with other dogs, kennel-trained, and housebroken. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if it might be a good fit for your home.
The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals.
We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!)
Please note, we do not have the ability to process adoption applications at our adoption events, so please plan accordingly. If an application is submitted past 5pm on Monday-Thursday, it will begin review the following day. If submitted on Friday-Sunday, it will begin review on Monday. It takes approximately 1-2 business days for an application to be processed.
Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525).
We will not be hosting adoption events on December 23 or December 30. Private adoption appointments will be available for the remainder of the year. Happy Holidays!
