My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hiya, I’m Kirby, a lovable 2-year-old, male English Bulldog. My family couldn’t keep me anymore and decided that I needed a home where I would be well cared for…the care I deserved. I now live with my foster parents and 2 bulldog siblings. I get along well with other dogs.

My foster parents say that I’m the Sweetest, gentle 73lbs hunk of love they have ever met, and that I’m big and strong and a bit plump and could stand to lose a few pounds. Otherwise, I’m a healthy boy who is neutered, and up to date on shots, heartworm free and will come to your home with a microchip. I walk great on leash.

Because of the weight issue (ahem) I waddle and snort when I go for short walks or when I roam the back yard. My foster Mom says I have great leash manners. I like car rides but I’m not happy about getting into or out of the car.

My favorite pastimes include snuggles, napping, belly rubs, playing tug of war and fetch. I also love to sit close to my people just in case they feel the need to pet me.

I don’t mind being in my crate and even sleep in it every night. But don’t put a blanket in it, because then I will potty on the blanket. But as long as there is no blanket, I will not have any accidents in my crate. Other than that, I’m house trained. It doesn’t bother me to be alone for a few hours, but I am used to a mid-day potty break.

I understand many commands like down and sit but sometimes… l choose not to listen to the come command. Because I want to see how much I can get away with. But my foster family said I will get better with training and practice.

I hate getting my wrinkles cleaned but with a slight struggle, I eventually let you clean them. I’m getting better with it everyday.

I haven’t been around any children under the age of 13 yet, but my foster parents think I should be just fine around them l. But they say I’m clumsy so I might run into them and accidentally knock them down.

Overall if you’re looking for a gentle boy who loves to cuddles and spend quiet moments with his human family. If you're looking for a loyal, loving companion with a gentle demeanor, I’m the purfect fit. My calm nature makes me an ideal pet for a peaceful home, where I can continue to flourish and bring joy.

With that being said It’s time to say goodbye, but you know where to find me. I’ll be waiting on the floor, in my foster home, just dreaming of my forever home.

See ya soon,
Kirby
