Why I need a new home

Human health issues (e.g. allergies, sickness)

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Sugar, she is 2 years old. Her father was part Norwegian Elkhound. She is very loving, does well without a leash & mainly enjoys spending her day lying next to her owner. She's not bothered by the owner's cats & does very well with sharing the attention of her owner. She gets excited when you return home from being away but does calm down after saying hello. Her owner is an elderly woman who recently lost her husband a few years ago; she's not in good health & wants to find a loving home for Sugar before something happens to her. The owner just had a stroke & is away from home a lot due to being hospitalized. She is sad that she has to part ways with her but is hopeful to find Sugar the perfect home.

Female/spayed, not microchipped, not updated on vaccinations, heartworm status: unknown. Calm/loving. Breed: part Norwegian Elkhound. Weight: 45 lbs. House trained. Good with kids, dogs & cats. Never bitten any human or animal.
