My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Precious, petite lil' Poppet! Everyone loves a Chug (or a Chihuahua/Pug mix), and this girl is no exception. Chugs are known to be affectionate, loyal and confident companions. Our Poppet fits this bill with her easygoing, upbeat personality. In addition, her adorable underbite and stumpy legs are just too cute to pass up! Poppet thrives around her people, and she will let you know how much she loves you by giving you all of her best cuddles and tail wags. While Poppet is potty trained and crate trained, she loves to share the bed with you, curling right up in your arms or at your feet. As an adult, she has also mastered all of her manners, so you get to skip out on that stubborn puppy training phase! She won’t be getting any bigger either, making her the perfect size to tag along with you wherever you go! Submit an application to meet Poppet today if you’re looking for your next best pal!

More about this rescue

SNIPSA is an organization formed by a group of veterinarians and caring individuals dedicated to helping homeless and unwanted animals in San Antonio and the surrounding area. SNIPSA does not have a standing shelter and depends on a core of volunteers to foster and rehabilitate animals in their homes. This provides us with the opportunity to learn first hand about the animal’s needs and behavior in order to facilitate an appropriate adoption. SNIPSA was incorporated in 2005 and has re-homed more than 3000 animals.
