My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet our resident potato bug, Tumble!! Tumble arrived to us a small puppy who suffered some serious injuries and skin infections. To say he is resilient, is an understatement. Being a young puppy who was injured, having to be on cage rest was difficult for him but he pulled through like a champ! He is growing into quite the gentleman who is learning new commands and leash skills weekly. Tumble missed out on some important socialization in his early days so he is still learning the ropes of playgroup manners. He does well with larger dogs who are tolerant and will give him good (much needed) corrections. He is need of a home with children 12&up, with no cats in the home. Our potato guy, Tumble is as sweet as can be and is eagerly awaiting his chance at a forever family, he will not disappoint!
Tumble is available for foster, foster to adopt or outright adoption! Email us at foster@cuyahogacounty.us to learn more about this chunk!

Our staff will review these questions with you in order to help you decide which dog is the right fit for you, your family, and your lifestyle. This information is confidential and will be used only to assist our staff in determining the best possible placement. Please spend the time necessary to make the best possible decision for you AND the dog you may adopt.

Where Our Dogs Come From

Cuyahoga County Animal Shelter is a temporary home for dogs that are found on the streets by the county dog wardens. Dogs are held for 72 hours in order for the owner to claim them. After the holding period, unclaimed dogs may be available for adoption.
