Please be sure to read his biography below to learn what he needs in a home placement and how to apply. No out of state.

Name: Pirate
Age: DOB 6/8/2023
Sex: male, neutered
Breed: mom was a short haired Chihuahua 11 lbs, dad was long haired Chihuahua. 8 lbs
Weight: 7 lbs currently, looks like the dad
Housebroken: almost! Off to a great start in foster care
Kids: kids over 16 please
Dogs: yes, & priority will be given to households who currently have another dog for him to play with
Cats: no
Housing: needs housing with backyard space. Not a good match for apartment/condo living
Personality: Initially shy, a little scared at first. He does not show well at our adoption events. Verysweet, happy, tail-wagger, active & playful once he knows you and settles in.  Loves other dogs, priority given to households with another dog for him to play with.
What we know: Ownersurrendered, 'accidental litter' Pirate is very happy and loves to play. It will take him a little bit to settle in, another dog in the household will help. He is in foster care and doing good with housebreaking and is a great eater.
Medical: Healthy, current on vaccines, neutered, dewormed & microchipped.
How to adopt: Click the application link below to apply.

More about this rescue

Our Mission Statement:

Our primary goal is to remove dogs in danger of being euthanized from shelter environments and foster them until permanent homes are found through our adoption program. We believe in the spay and neuter of all animals, regardless of breed, in order to aid in the prevention of pet overpopulation. We provide our dogs with shelter, proper veterinary care and any necessary rehabilitation. We rescue all breeds of dogs and they come to us from a variety of different sources. Most of our dogs are rescued from our city and county shelters, others are strays, neglected, or abandoned due to their owners various financial situations.

Who We Are:

Animals Rule Placement Foundation is a registered 501 (C) (3) Non-Profit Animal Welfare Organization Tax ID #13-4264510.

We are a group of non paid volunteers who have come together to rescue and foster animals in need of adoption and find them permanent forever homes. We are based out of the south bay, in the city of San Pedro, California. Our funding comes entirely from donations, our adoption fees and fund raisers. We do not receive any city, county or government funding. Your tax deductible donation is used 100% for the welfare and veterinary care of the animals while they are with us.
