Introducing Togiak
This boy, about 3 years old, arrived as a scared stray who was trying to find food on his own, and had his eye on a resident's pet bunny! Thankfully, they brought Togiak to the shelter so he could fill his belly and warm his paws, and now this handsome kitty is ready for a real home. He is tolerant of dogs and other cats and could be indoor-only or indoor-outdoor (unless your neighbor has bunnies out back).
Togiak will be so grateful to finally have a home again; it's clear to us he HAD a home once, but like so many strays we get, all we know is SOMETHING happened and he found himself all alone out in the wild. He would appreciate not having to go through that experience ever again.
NOTE: FOR THE REST OF 2023, A DONOR IS SPONSORING ADOPTION FEES FOR SELECTED PETS! This means any adoption payment from the adopter is optional and will be fully tax-deductible; if the adopter's donation is less than our normal adoption fee, the sponsor will make up the difference.
All pets arrive spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped and vaccinated. Adoption fee for Togiak is a suggested minimum of SPONSORED (pay what you like) (more gratefully accepted). All pets are placed with a 30-day money-back trial period, to give pet and family enough time to discover any unknown allergies or other conflicts.
Can't come to Republic? Don't let that stop you! We have monthly transports to the Seattle area, delivering adopted pets to their new owners. If you can add a little to your donation to help us cover our volunteer driver's expenses, that would be great!
