My name is Bella!

Hello there! My name is Bella, and I'm a sweet and loyal companion looking for my perfect family. I'm what you might call a couch potato-I enjoy lounging around and relaxing. I have a calm and mellow energy that makes me a delightful addition to any home.

When it comes to meeting new people, I'm both excited and interested. I love making new friends and greeting them with a wagging tail. However, I can also be a bit shy and timid at first. It may take me a little while to warm up and feel comfortable, but once I do, I'll shower you with affection.

In terms of other pets, I'm a friendly gal. When I meet other dogs, I'm usually the one being friendly first. I wag my tail in a friendly manner until the other dog's behavior dictates otherwise. I enjoy socializing and getting along with my furry counterparts.

Being petted is one of my favorite things in the world. I seek out affection and love snuggling up next to my humans on the couch. It doesn't take long for me to establish trust and reliance on my family members. Positive reinforcement through human affection means the world to me, and I respond well to it. While I'm not a huge fan of food treats, I thrive on love and attention.

Let's talk about my favorite things! I have a little teddy bear Kong and a blue dinosaur toy that I absolutely adore. Car rides are now enjoyable for me, and I can stay calm and relaxed during trips. In fact, I often fall asleep after a short ride. I'm not a fan of the hair dryer, but I'm okay with the vacuum as long as it's at a distance. Exploring new surroundings and meeting new people are among my favorite activities. I'm known for greeting others in a friendly and polite way, making a positive impression almost every time.

What makes me special? Well, besides being sweet and loyal, I'm also smart and responsive. I'm a quick learner and have mastered commands like "sit." I'm always eager to learn more and please my family. I'm a loving and affectionate companion who will be by your side through thick and thin.

I would be a perfect fit for a family that treats me as a cherished family member. I get along well with children and cats, but I might need some caution around other dogs. If you're looking for a dog with relatively low energy, I'm the one for you. Due to my heartworm condition, I don't require excessive exercise. I'd be more than happy to snuggle with you on the couch while we enjoy a movie together. Even if you have a busy schedule, I'm not disruptive and can stay quietly in my crate. If you work from home, that's even better because I love having you around, even if you're not actively playing with me.
