My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Seamus! Why wait? Email spayneuter99@gmail.com and make an appointment to meet me. I am in a foster home in Hampstead, North Carolina. My veterinary records are held at Hampstead Animal Hospital.

Besides being large and handsome, I am a special big guy with a special story.

I don't have hearing. I am affectionate. I can be picked up and held. I have a strong meow. And I have been learning how to leash walk.

I enjoy YouTube videos of birds and mice. I have had cat pals in my past but so far in my foster home, I am giving strong indication that I want to be The One and Only Cat Guy in your Life.

I love sleeping in a sun soaked window.

Why the leash training? Well, I have lived an outdoor life. The barn where I lived has woods all around it. The trail cams often show bears and sometimes coyotes. Imagine how vulnerable I was there, all snowy white, without the sense of hearing to alert me to dangerous predators. Time for warmth and coziness and security.

That is why the indoor life suits me best.

A snowy white senior cat looking for some loving.... that's me. My name is Seamus The Great White.

My new home will be given an extra tall litter box so that I may succeed. I am big guy and a liter box for a little cat just won't do. Wet food makes me happy, and the crunchy stuff too. My adoption fee will help the cost of a microchip and a vet check up so you can be assured that I am healthy AND handsome. I am neutered and up to on my rabies and distemper vaccine.
