Introducing Galena
This 3-year-old girl is a mix of Norwegian Elkhound, Shepherd, and who knows what else. She is housetrained, knows several commands (and is very willing to learn more), and absolutely loves time snuggling with staff and volunteers on the couch.
She is calm, quiet, and an easy keeper. She lived happily with a cat in her former home, and has been accepting of the other shelter dogs in her play group.
Galena loves all the people she's met, and is really hoping to be an active, included family member in her new home.

NOTE: FOR THE REST OF 2023, A DONOR IS SPONSORING ADOPTION FEES FOR SELECTED PETS! This means any adoption payment from the adopter is optional and will be fully tax-deductible; if the adopter's donation is less than our normal adoption fee, the sponsor will make up the difference.
All pets arrive spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped and vaccinated. Adoption fee for Galena is a suggested minimum of SPONSORED (pay what you like) (more gratefully accepted). All pets are placed with a 30-day money-back trial period, to give pet and family enough time to discover any unknown allergies or other conflicts.
Can't come to Republic? Don't let that stop you! We have monthly transports to the Seattle area, delivering adopted pets to their new owners. If you can add a little to your donation to help us cover our volunteer driver's expenses, that would be great!
