My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Akon! He’s an 8 month old Pit/Cane Corso mix, 77 lbs, & has a brindle/white coloring.

He used to be a much more scared & shy dog, but he’s really opened up since we first met him here! He still leans more on the shy side, but he’s an absolute lover boy. He’s still a big puppy, for sure! He’s playful, affectionate, & always has a smile on his face!

He’s been okay with most people & other animals, but younger kids/toddlers aren’t the best for him. He gets frightened easily, & being around kids that are loud & rammy, aren’t old enough to learn proper boundaries, etc. really frightens him & makes him shut down a bit. Otherwise, if you’ve got a little more of a quiet atmosphere, he'll be a great dog! He might not be the easiest breed to handle, but if you've got XL dog experience, he shouldn't be too terribly tough!
