Meet Lily! Lily was surrendered to Brooklyn ACC in February because her previous owner's landlord didn't allow dogs. She has been in foster with Ready For Rescue since March. Lily is the sweetest, snuggliest, most adorable gal you could possibly ask for. She instantly won everyone over with her signature helicopter wagging tail and desire to cuddle!
She's the perfect mix of easy going and enthusiastic; she's happy to spend the afternoon napping, playing with toys, or going for a long walk in the park! She's just happy to be involved in whatever you'd like to do. There's nothing she loves more than cuddling and being by your side.
She’s 5 years old, spayed, healthy, up to date on all vaccines, 47 pounds. Has lived with 4 cats before! Amazing with kids. She’s on the lower energy side, walks perfectly on leash, housebroken, and totally fine left home alone!
Lily has beautiful brown and blue eyes and her tail never stops wagging - this girl can't wait to meet you!

More about this rescue
Ready for Rescue is a 501c3 non-profit committed to saving cats and dogs from the streets and shelters of New York City.
Each year we rescue more than a hundred wonderful cats and dogs. We're especially committed to the underdogs and undercats that end up in local kill shelters. We routinely save sick, injured and senior animals who in many cases are next on a shelter's euthanasia list. We also have a particular fondness for pit bulls, a misunderstood dog breed.
We provide our cats and dogs with the finest medical care and place them in foster homes while we look for forever families.
Ready for Rescue is a 100% volunteer organization – every dollar goes to the care and well-being of our animals.
