My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Brussel Sprout. His time was up but we gave him a second chance at life. He is a young fearful guy so we set him up for success and went to training. He has been doing great and learning that the world doesn’t have to be a scary place but actually a wonderful place full of people who want to show him love and not harm him. He’s on the smaller side about 30 lbs and we will have him fully vetted before adoption. We are looking for a patient and confident home for him where he can continue his training and learning of this big world.

He will need an experienced dog owner to help set him up for success, no cats or kids for this guy. if you think he may be a good fit, applications can be found in the link below.

He had a lot of people rooting for him at the shelter, the friends he made were sad to see him go, but thankful to see him get a second chance at life. ? Could you be his furever home?

More about this rescue

District 5 Animal Alliance is a non profit 501c3 organization and our main goal is to save dogs off the streets or crowded shelters. Our dogs come from the Detroit municipal shelter and most are bully breeds at risk of euthanasia. We care for our dogs and believe in neuter and spaying to help our over population problem. We give dogs second chances so they can live a long and happy life and bring joy to their family.
