Introducing Waffle, the dog who is the best at everything he does! Waffle is a very handsome German Shepherd who is intelligent, well-mannered, and responsive to everyone he meets, especially his handler. He is about four years old and weighs just over 73 lbs. This clever fellow quickly learned some tricks from one of his handlers at the shelter, and he is also learning the shelter obstacle course - pretty impressive! He is a fast learner, likes to show off what he has learned, and is anxious to learn more. Waffle is housetrained, walks calmly on a leash, regularly checks with his handler during his walks, and usually ignores other dogs he encounters on his walks. We think this guy is the best Waffle ever, and when you meet him, you won’t waffle about adopting him - you will want to take him home immediately!

You can meet Waffle at the San Diego County Animal Shelter North Campus, 2481 Palomar Airport Road, Carlsbad, CA 92011. The shelter is open for animal viewing Tuesday through Friday from 1 to 3:30 pm and Saturday and Sunday from 10 am until 3:30 pm. You can also meet him at other times by scheduling an appointment at (619)767-2675. Be sure to mention Waffle’s ID number, which is A1916111.
