My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I AM IN FOSTER CARE! PLEASE FILL OUT AN OUR ADOPTION APPLICATION. ONCE APPROVED,  GIVE US A CALL AND WE CAN SET UP AN APPOINTMENT FOR YOU TO MEET ME!

Born: May 11, 2023

I am currently 27lbs and I am seeking my forever home!

Adoption Donation: $450

A note from Sirius' Foster Family: He's getting along well with our cat and has made friends with a couple of other dogs he's met. During walks, he eagerly greets other dogs, showing a keen interest in playing with them. Lately, Sirius has started to play with toys occasionally and is growing more courageous and self-assured with each passing day. Potty training is going very well.  He remains relatively quiet, with only one bark noted in the car. Due to his tendency to flee in uncertain or loud situations, he's kept on a leash outdoors. During leash walks, Sirius truly stands out, demonstrating excellent walking manners and displaying a remarkable eagerness to explore his environment. For added safety, his foster keeps him on a martingale collar and a harness, each attached to separate leashes. When he's not out and about, Sirius enjoys lounging on the sofa, displaying his curiosity and intelligence. He's an incredibly sweet and lovable pup!

All dogs are microchipped, neutered, current on all vaccines, heartworm tested (if age appropriate), and up-to-date on preventatives at the time of adoption.

An application is required to view our adoptable pets. All household members and any dogs from the household need to be present to be able to adopt. A photo ID will be required at the time of adoption.

Appointments are HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. All applications are considered general. Specific animals are NOT put on hold for adoption. When you visit, our adoption counselors will be able to make suggestions based on the type of pet you are looking for and help you find the best fit for your family.

Animal House Shelter cannot guarantee the breeds of the adoptable animals. The animals are posted on the website as the breed or breed mix based on their physical characteristics they most resemble. We also cannot guarantee the ages of our adoptable animals or how large puppies will be when fully grown.

We look forward to seeing you soon!
