My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

**If you are interested in being considered for this dog, please complete an application directly on our website - not through a 3rd party service.**

Nutmeg, an adorable English Setter/Pointer mix, weighs approximately 22 pounds, is up to date on all her puppy shots, and is microchipped. She has mastered crate training, is diligently working on potty training, and is learning basic commands like come, sit, wait, and crate. Nutmeg is highly treat-motivated, making her a quick learner.

In her foster home, Nutmeg gets along well with other dogs, engaging in lively games of tug. She is fond of respectful toddlers, tweens, and teens, delighting in exchanging puppy kisses for cuddles on the couch. While she hasn't been cat-tested, Nutmeg's versatility shines in various family settings.

Her ideal forever home would feature a fenced yard where she can showcase her zoomies. Nutmeg envisions a forever family that offers her the time and patience to adapt to new surroundings. Obedience training, exciting adventures, and a lifetime of kisses and cuddles are on Nutmeg's wish list for her new family.

Go meet their pets

Our rescue is foster based, therefore you will need to make an appointment to visit with any of our animals that are available for adoption.
Most of our adoptable animals come from high kill shelters. Occasionally we are given specific breed information on the animals, but more often, we have to make an educated guess as to breed or mixture based on size, color and physical characteristics.
