My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Petunia is a sweetheart! She is very shy at first but warms up with lots of chin rubs. Little lady loves to be brushed and snuggled in a blanket on someone's lap. Her favorite treats are the squeeze up pouches and she goes crazy for a small bowl of oat milk every once in awhile. She's great with other cats but would do well in a home without a dog.

More about this rescue

Partners for Pets is a 501c3 non-profit animal rescue located in Troy, IL. Since our opening in 2003, Partners for Pets has rescued and re-homed over 21,000 cats and dogs, who would have otherwise been euthanized in local area animal control facilities. Partners for Pets works diligently to help local area animal control facilities reach no-kill status by opening our doors to the neglected, sick, weak, and injured. No matter their chances of survival, we do everything in our power to give these animals a second chance at life-a life that is full of the love, care, and compassion that they were lacking before.
