Peter and Wendy are looking for a home or rescue!!

This pair came into the shelter emaciated and having been left on their own a very long time. They are sweet as can be, well trained, and desperate for love (and groceries!).

Peter knows "Sit", "Laydown", "Shake/Paw", and walks well on a leash. He has exhibited behaviors similar to that of a trained service dog, where he stops when you stop, leans on you if you pause, and is extremely focused on YOU while he's walking with you. He is a very gentle soul, and not a barker at all. Peter came in very skinny, and we have been working to get him a healthy weight, but it will take quite some time 😭 as you can see by his second photo, it was critical.

Wendy is Peter's very best friend- she's at his heels everywhere he goes. As a Border collie/ mini Aussie mix, she is a busy little thing. She LOVES to do tricks for treats, and knows "Sit", "Lay Down", "Shake/Paw", and even "Spin". Wendy loves to cuddle and will give kisses if you let her. She is very quick to come when called to.
