Buddy is taking applications for his new home. He is a true rags to riches story!

Buddy was found during TNR efforts, limping up to us with a broken rear leg. He was a little leery of us humans at first but quickly learned that we provided yummy food and treats as well as a warm bed. His visit to the vet showed his leg broken and shattered in multiple areas by a bullet. The only option was amputation. Buddy is NOT a fan of men. We think perhaps it was a man who shot him. He is not aggressive towards men but is very leery of them.

Buddy is adjusting incredibly well to living a 3 legged life. He is shy with new humans but quickly warms up to you. He enjoys having his head scratched and will even roll for belly rubs. Buddy will take some time to adjust to a new home and is looking for someone who can give him the time to adjust properly and slowly, on his terms. He does well with other cats This big guy has a lot of love to give and has come so far from being a tough street cat.
