Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet our little guy Taz. He's 12 year old but like a pup of 4.5 pounds of pure love and affection. He's the definition of a lap dog, happy and at peace curled up next to someone for hours on end.
Unfortunately between life changes, kids out of on their own, and a look at the future, we have come to the necessary realization that we should find him a better situation.
The only real issue is that he cries when he's home alone. That crying travels easily through the ceilings and floors in my apartment, making it impossible for me to leave him. My new apartment (June of 2024) does not allow dogs. Could he be trained to not cry being home alone? Yes, but the ideal situation would be a home with someone more present and he would happily nap.
Staying with the ex-wife is also not possible, as she does not want Taz to be home alone either, and also she is now not at home much due to her work situation (tons of driving) and personal situation. He has lost hair due to alopecia.
