My name is Dumpling!

Hello, my name is Dumpling, and I am a brindle with white adoptable female looking for a loving forever home. I am a sweet and gentle soul who is just waiting for someone to show me the love and kindness I deserve. I absolutely love going for walks and exploring the world around me. After a nice walk, I enjoy nothing more than chomping down on a yummy bully stick - it's the little things that bring me the most joy. I am a dog-friendly pup who thrives on human companionship. I love sitting beside you, soaking up all the love and attention I can get. I am learning that not all humans will hurt me, but it may take some time for me to fully trust and feel secure. Car rides are still a bit scary for me, but a pupcup always manages to put a smile on my face. I am slowly getting better on my leash and enjoying the warm sunshine on my back as I sniff around and explore the world. I know the command "sit" and will eagerly show off my skills in exchange for tasty treats. Before coming to the shelter, I experienced starvation and abuse, but I am slowly learning to trust again and understand that there are kind and loving people in the world. I may still have some healing to do, but with the right family by my side, I know I can continue to grow and thrive. I have the most beautiful smile that I can't wait to share with my forever family.
