Hi! I’m Marge, I want all the pets, all the time. My foster mama calls me LARGE MARGE or Margie. I am about 5 years old, and a little on the husky side at just over 90lbs, but we are working on that. She is being very strict with my food and I think she is starving me. When she gives me my breakfast and dinner I make sure I get every single morsel! I like it if you stand by me and watch me eat. I get very happy. I also like to walk around with kibble and leave a treasure trail for me to find later! I like when I find kibble.
We are also getting lots of exercise and I can do the stairs at the house with no problem, as long as they have carpet or rubber treads. I do have a little problem with cherry eye right now and my eyes look a little cloudy, I do a lot of nose bumping to make sure I feel the stairs when going up. An object in motion stays in motion and when I start heading down the stairs, look out cause here I come.
I love to follow my foster mama everywhere, if she moves I move. She is keeping me very active. Sometimes she doesn’t know I am there because I like to be so close. When we are relaxing I like to back up to her and she can give me butt scratches and ear scratches. I love to be pet so much. I wish I could be pet all the time. I am also very vocal and will tell her when I want to be pet. I really like to pull on her heartstrings and sound like the saddest bulldog in the world. No one can resist a face like this.
I don’t chew on anything that isn’t a bone or a toy, talk about good manners. I also have good manners when meeting other dogs and people. I don’t jump or lunge or bark outside, but I don’t like when other dogs have too much energy, I am a very chill kinda bulldog and like other dogs to be chill too. I’ll give that other doggie a little warning GRRRR and walk away, I am lover not a fighter. I have not met a kitty or small child yet, but like I said I am a lover, I think I like everybody.
I'm house trained. I need eyedrops in my eyes because of my cherry eye, but I am very good about letting you put them in. I also love when you use a warm wash cloth and gently wipe my face, I am so thankful afterwards, also my foster mama gives me one little treat whenever I get my eyedrops so I get excited when she picks up the drops.
