Meet Maxen!
Maxen is just waiting to win you over with his adorable smile. This handsome boy will surely provide constant entertainment with SO many snuggles (yes, he has a degree in snuggling), wiggles, and laughs along the way!
Maxen is on the shy side when first meeting him who looks up to his human for reassurance and when he does find that confidence - watch out! Our angel's gentle, very playful spirit comes out!
According to our staff, Maxen will climb in your coat or hoodie to be closer. That said, if you have a cozy couch, our boy will love to snuggle up besides you and take his rightful place as your heated/weighted blanket.
On top of everything else that makes Maxen so special, all ages and stages have a place in Maxen's heart including dogs!
Our ray of sunshine's adoption fee is $450 which includes his neuter, microchip, fecal exam, and shots up to date.
We could go on and on in telling you how amazing Maxen is, but you'll have to see and find out for yourself!

All dogs require a $100 cash training deposit. Once confirmation of the completion of a training class has been sent to the rescue, you will receive your deposit back in full.
As we are a rescue all of our adult dogs/puppies for adoption must be spayed or neutered. Although we make every attempt to have this done before finding their adoptive families, this is not always possible. Please speak with your adoption coordinator to see of this service has already been performed or they will explain to you if your new dog/puppy will need this service while in your care at no cost to you.
When emailing please include your phone number to help speed up the adoption process. Also, for the safety of our dogs we only adopt within a 2 hour radius of Joliet, Illinois, to allow our volunteers to do home checks if necessary.
