My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Chessi - the queen of cuddling and ball-fetching!

If you're a dog lover who prefers indoor play during the chilly winter months, Chessi might be the perfect companion for you. She's a cat who acts like a dog and loves interactive games, especially fetch. Chessi is always eager to retrieve her favorite toy, making playtime endless fun.

With Chessi around, you'll enjoy the company of a furry friend without braving the winter weather. If you wish to take her outside during the warmer months, Chessi has been harness-trained in the backyard. Chessi loves human interaction and thrives on it. She may be a tad shy at first,  but it won't take long before she shows you her true colors. She will be a loving, loyal, and playful friend for many years.

Chessi thrives on human interaction and would love an adopter willing to spend quality time playing and bonding with her. This gal would love another kitty in her home to join her indoor adventures. If you don't have one, don't despair, Chessi has three foster siblings, Riley, Yogurt, and Custard, who are all already packed and ready to join Chessi's next chapter.

FYI Chessi is allergic to chicken, but that isn't an issue as there are so many chicken-free, yummy wet and dry food choices that can be easily found at pet stores.  She has not been exposed to dogs, and she would be happiest in a home that only has older, respectful children.

Chessi is ready to be your devoted playmate and confidant. If you're looking for a cat with a big heart and a penchant for indoor adventures, don't miss the chance to bring Chessi into your life. Give her the loving home she deserves, and you'll find a loyal friend for years to come.

Chessi has been waiting for her forever family for over a year.  Will you be the one to make her wish come true?

Additional adoption info

Thank you for your interest in Forever Fortunate Felines.  We are very happy to have the opportunity to match you with your purr-fect cat-panion!

Once you complete the online application using the below link, you will be able to discuss and ask questions directly to the foster parent.  We believe this is a big advantage to you as our organization is completely foster based, we really understand our cats personalities at a deep level.  This helps to ensure a great match with you and your family.

In order to get the process going, would you kindly fill out our detailed online application located here:
http://www.foreverfortunatefelines.org/adopt

Completing our online application does not commit you to adopt from our rescue.  Rather it helps us to understand your requirements and match you with the best possible cat or kitten.

Once you complete the application and it is approved, we can set up a meet and greet and if all works out, you may bring the kittens or cats home the same day.  Please make sure to bring an adequately sized pet carrier with you to your meet and greet.  We recommend a pet carrier which opens from the top as this is the easiest way to place a cat inside a carrier.  If you do decide to adopt, we do expect you to take home your cat the same day as there are so many cats and kittens which need to be rescued from high kill shelters, we almost always rescue a new cat or kitten the very next day.  If it is not possible for you to take your cat or kitten home the same day, we do charge a boarding fee of $10 per day for supplies and to encourage you to take your newly adopted cat home.  We will board for a maximum of 3 days if needed to allow you time to get needed supplies.

Our adoption fees are listed at the link below. This fee includes full vetting, flea treatment, de-worming, spay surgery, FeLV and FIV test, microchip insertion, and vaccinations up to date for the kittens or cats age.  We are able to PayPal or most major credit cards for the adoption fee.

We have streamlined our adoption process to make it easy!  Everything from the application, to payment, to the contract is online.  Additionally, all of the cats records will be placed in your free Petlovers account at petstablished.com to keep organized.
