Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Candy, Truffles, Toffee and Peppermint are are adorable little bush babies.
Our volunteer who is 77 years young responded to a call for kittens under a bush in a backyard. She went and crawled under the bush and pulled out four gorgeous, exotic little treasures! They were just four weeks old and had just started to eat. They went to our foster homes and thrived.
Peppermint is a darling! She is unique in so many ways. She appears to be a Siamese flame point mix and she is a polydactyl on all four paws! She also has a unique personality. We do believe that she is hearing impaired has most white cats with blue eyes are genetically disposed to be. She responds slower, after her siblings have responded. They wake up as soon as they hear their foster mom is home but Pepper would still be asleep. She does appear to hear high pitched sounds right now. She is clever and picks up on her environment quite quickly. She keeps up just fine with her siblings and responds to movement as fast as they do. Pepper is affectionate and so sweet. She is a foody! She loves to eat. Right now that's ok since she is only two pounds. She is tiny and mighty! We love so send her home with a sibling.
This time of year we are very busy rescuing and being with our families who support us through all of our rescue efforts. It is important that you file a complete application. Vet references are required this time of year. The application is through our website at www.hucatrescue.org.
If you do not have any other pets, at this age you must adopt a pair, especially with kittens such as these who came in without a mom. Thank you!
