Hey everyone! I'm Ranger. I'm a silly and energetic dude who is really excited to find my forever home. I'm a really smart dog with lots of potential, so I would love to find a family that is open to training me to become the bestest boy in all the land. I know I would soar at learning all kinds of tricks! I haven't been around other dogs here, so if you have a pup at home, I would love to have a meet and greet first to see if we could be best friends. I would really love a home where I could have lots of space to do zoomies but also get tons of belly rubs and treats after! More about this shelter

The Woodford Humane Society is a 501(c)(3) non-profit animal organization located in Versailles, Kentucky. We provide shelter and care to the homeless and unwanted animals in Woodford County, surrounding counties, as well as animals from other states. We care for pets of all breeds and ages, with no time limit on their stay, and we are proud to maintain an annual placement rate of over 95%.

With no government funding, we are completely dependent on private contributions to continue to provide care to around a thousand animals each year.

Adoption fees include spay or neuter surgery, vaccinations and deworming while at our Adoption Center, feline leukemia and FIV screening for cats, heartworm screening for dogs, a microchip with a lifetime registration, a free veterinary checkup, and a starter bag of food.
