Everyone, meet Bing! (in honor of the late Matthew Perry) Bing was a stray in GA and wound up in the shelter, a very full shelter having to make euthanasia decisions. His number was called but the shelter continued to advocate for him and fortunately the stars aligned, allowing us to rescue him. Bing is a gorgeous, silky coated, tall, bi-eyed fella who embraces all things Husky! He's such a funny dude. He's estimated to be 2 years old, is neutered and heartworm negative. While he's only 52lbs he's a pretty tall guy and will need room to move around. He can be a bit of a bull in a china shop in tight spaces.   Bing is a goof! Don't let his serious look or expressions fool you. He's quite the derp and joker. He loves when you're goofy with him and likes to sing to you. Bing would do well in just about any home where he has room to just be him. Also, no small animals, he has a classic prey drive.   Bing is: Completely housebroken Crate Trained Very vocal High energy Strong on a leash Good with other dogs Allowed on furniture Knows basic commands such as sit and shake   He is being fostered in MD but can be transported along the east coast for an approved applicant. Apply at www.huskyrescueteam.org

~~Husky Education And Rescue Team is a foster based rescue. Our dogs are in our foster homes all up and down the east coast. We do not have a facility in which you can visit. We find this a huge benefit because we learn our dogs and are able to educate our adopters on what it’s like to have them live in your home. Part of our process, once pre-approved, is to speak with the foster for the dog you’re interested in. If you’re still interested in adopting from our rescue the first step is to complete our adoption application online at www.huskyrescueteam.org/apply

We are a foster based rescue and do not have visiting hours.

More about this rescue

We are a 501(c) (3) nonprofit animal rescue organization. Our organization saves, rehabilitates, and rehomes Siberian Huskies (and other breeds of dogs) who are abandoned and are in kill shelters. We provide medical and behavioral services and rehome them to compatible families. We do this through volunteer efforts. Most of the dogs in need will come from the Southern States where the shelter kill rate is higher. We have a network of foster homes along the East Coast, while our adoption locations can be found in Maryland and New Jersey.
