My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

DOB: 7/28/22

King Arthur and Sir Lancelot are unbelievably handsome brother cats.  They are destined to bring great happiness and joy to some lucky person, because these boys are amazing!  Not only are they handsome as the day is long, but they're absolutely hilarious (they forget sometimes that they're royalty).  They're total goofballs and they engage in all sorts of antics together.  They're very bonded and love to play and race around and go exploring.  But they're also very well behaved -- extremely responsive and intelligent and loving.  They're gentle and smart and they just LOVE attention.

King Arthur is what you would call a LOUD MOUTH (perhaps because he's so wise he has to pontificate now and then).  He's so funny when he talks, you just can't help laughing.  And we all know how healthy laughter is!  Lance is a little shyer than Arthur, but he's also incredibly affectionate.  He follows his brother around and both of them come running when you call them.  They exude so much joy and enthusiasm just to be near their human.

These two black beauties spent four months at a high-kill shelter.  It's completely shocking, but nobody wanted them.  Then, on Giving Tuesday, Kitten Rescue got all the cats out of that shelter -- all except these two.  They ran out of fosters and with great sadness had to leave them behind, until at the last minute, someone stepped up to foster them, and these two remarkable cats were saved.  Phew!

Now these two amazing brother cats will live out their lives in safety and security, adored by their new humans and in turn adoring them back.  Will you be the lucky ones?!

If the above links aren't live, our contact form and questionnaire are available on our website at www.kittenrescue.org.

More about this rescue

Kitten Rescue is a non-profit, volunteer-run organization devoted to finding loving homes for unwanted, homeless cats and kittens. We rescue cats and kittens from the streets of Los Angeles and from City Shelter euthanasia. Since our start in 1997, we have grown into one of the largest, most well-respected animal welfare groups in LA.

Kitten Rescue volunteers adopt out over 1,000 cats and kittens into homes every year. We educate the public about responsible pet guardianship, how to care for kittens and cats, and the importance of spaying and neutering. Kitten Rescue makes educational material available via events, print, school presentations and here on our website. We also provide Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) assistance for communities in and around Los Angeles, and teach people how to manage and care for feral cat colonies.
