Here's what the humans have to say about me:
We are seeking a new forever home for our adult daughter's sweet dog, Moose. She brought Moose with her to college, but has realized she doesn’t have enough time to care for him the way he deserves. He thrives on time outdoors, exercise and companionship.
Moose turned one year old on 9-24-23. He’s a German Wirehaired Pointer, with some German Shepherd. He’s long and lean, and weighs 75 lbs. He’s a playful, energetic dog, and is also very sweet, loyal, and affectionate. He’d be happy with folks who spend a lot of time outdoors, walking, going to the beach, or in the backyard. He also loves playing with other dogs, but he's still young (15 months old) and needs work on off-leash behavior and controlling his energy around other dogs. He’s smart and food-driven, so he’s easy to further train.
Moose is house-trained and crate-trained (he will sleep/rest in his crate). He's is healthy, neutered, takes tick & flea meds monthly, and has had all his shots.
