Hello! My name is Buttons. Do you know how I got my name?? I'm as cute as a button!!! I’m a sweet dilute tortie girl. I’m just 4 months old. I’m lucky I made it to this age!! I was dumped off the side of a road near a library when I was not even 2-months-old. I didn’t even weigh 2 lbs.! I was cold, confused, scared and very hungry. Fortunately, it was a busy area, and someone saw me and got me to a rescue. So now here I am, a whole 4 lbs. big and while I’m probably going to be a smallish girl, I’m sure to get bigger than I am now 😊
My foster mom says I’m sweet, funny and smart. I’m very patient with the other kitties and with my foster mom when she’s getting our food. I politely wait for my food. I’m a fun gal too. I love chasing crickets, stalking birds in the back yard through the window and watching cat TV on YouTube. I’m so young, I’m going to need a kitty friend in my forever home. I like everybody so young or old kitties are all good as long as they are friendly.
I’m all ready to go to my forever home. I’ve been spayed, had my FVRCP vaccines, dewormed, been given flea & tick treatment and ear mite treatment (just in case) AND I’ve been chipped. Whew! So, I’m all set to go. Because I’m young and like other cats so much I’d like to be adopted into a home with other friendly cats. I’m sure we’ll get along and be friends. If you don’t have another cat already, I have several foster mates looking for a new home too. I could love one person or a whole family of people - I'm not picky. Just be aware that I might be a tiny bit shy at first until I know you. I don’t think it will take me long though because I love people. I get along with dogs too and I like kids. So, if you’d like to have a sweet, pretty, and loving addition to your family, I’m your girl. I’ll be waiting to hear from you!
