Here's what the humans have to say about me:
*WE'RE A FOSTER-BASED RESCUE, NOT A SHELTER* (We don't have a facility)
Sir Cleetus was found near Lake Stanley Draper in central Oklahoma, likely the victim of getting dumped. We took him in, once a foster home was secured, and he's been absolutely thriving! He's excellent with all her other dogs (2 are Great Danes) and her cats, plus he's patient with kids. He is shy when he first meets strangers, but will come around. There's no telling how he was treated when he was on his own.
If you'd like to make Sir Cleetus part of your family furever, please apply on our website: shelterfriends.org
Applications take around 5 days for processing, and then we'll email you. Make sure to add our email address to your contacts so our messages won't go to spam: shelterfriendsok@gmail.com Thank you!

More about this rescue
We are a nonprofit organization dedicated to finding homes for pets in rural Oklahoma animal shelters through adoption events and fundraisers. We're focused on the Newcastle animal shelter since that's where we're based, but we also pull from other rural shelters when we can. We are a foster-based program, meaning that all of our dogs live in private foster homes NOT a facility. This gives them better socialization skills, which makes them a more well-adjusted pet. Also, the foster parent is able to learn about the pet’s personality, likes, and dislikes so that he can be better matched to the right forever home. We always need great foster families, so if you're interested in learning more on becoming one please visit our website to apply: www.shelterfriends.org
