Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Liam is such a sweet and funny boy! He is super affectionate (he loves giving hugs and kisses) and his unique and expressive personality will always keep a smile on your face. He loves his chew bones and knows not to chew anything else in the house! He is also a perfect angel in the car and in the crate. He is super well behaved while on the road and loves his kennel! As most 2 year old pittie mixes, he is pretty energetic, but he listens well to being corrected and is incredibly food-motivated which is great for easy-training. As a young, high-energy dog, he would love to be a part of an active lifestyle, but he is equally happy to snuggle right beside you (or on you!) when it's time to settle down. Despite his energy, Liam actually rarely barks. He does want to make sure you know there might be a stranger at your door! But once you show him that they are your friend, he quickly quiets down. Liam has never been shown the love and patience he deserves. If you open up your home to him, he is sure to shower you with appreciation and affection, and could be the perfect furry addition to your family!

Our mission is to provide the programs and services needed to eliminate the killing of at-risk animals due to lack of space, adopter or foster.
San Antonio Pets Alive! is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Due to alarming euthanasia rates, San Antonio Pets Alive! (SAPA!) was founded in 2012. SAPA! is unique—it is the only high paced, high-volume rescue in San Antonio, saving 6,000 at-risk cats and dogs annually.
Since its inception, SAPA! has saved more than 47,000 dogs and cats. SAPA! provides safety nets for the dogs and cats that fall through the cracks of all other lifesaving options and end up on the euthanasia lists, often with just hours to be saved. SAPA! promotes the availability of these dogs and cats to other rescues, adopters and fosters.

questions.
If you are interested in fostering an animal, please visit our website and fill out our online Foster Application. The more foster homes we have the more animals we can pull off the euthanasia list and the more lives we can save together!
