Meet MADDIE!

She's a sweet, friendly, loving 4 to 5-year-old gal, <50 lbs who found herself in the Burley Shelter before rescue. She was lucky to be brought out by a dedicated volunteer so we learned a little about her.

MADDIE is mellow for any breed, but especially so for a husky. She greeted everyone like they were her best friend. She was even great around kids.

MADDIE loads right up to a car and rides well. She is treat-motivated and seemed familiar with treats at the coffee drive-through. She takes treats very gently and knows 'sit' to get one. She showed off good manners in the lobby while waiting for a vehicle oil change.

We recently learned that MADDIE likes to be around people ALOT. She will let you know when she is alone so you return quickly. We are hoping to find a family with someone home a lot.

The shelter said that she is good with other dogs, but we will test that out more during another adventure. We will also test her with cats.

MADDIE has a couple of broken canine teeth so she is likely a chewer. A small growth on corner of her right eye lid gives her some character and will be checked out medically.
