Meet the Sylvania kittens! They were born by a stray cat on Sylvania street in Ormond . The mom is fixed and now it’s time to find homes for the babies.
We have two girls (Sylvania & Sylvie) and one boy named Sergio .
PERSONALITY: These kittens are 7 weeks old. They love to play and are needy. They have been around other cats and a dog too and my 4 kids. They are fluffy and have medium long hair. Sometimes it could turn to more longer length fur- but can be hard to tell at this age . They DO NOT have short fur. It is MED-long.
They are using cat box well and eating lots of wet food. Twice daily .read at the very bottom to learn why it is actually vital for cats to get wet food daily (and why limiting the crappy dry food is key).
WHEN CAN THEY GO HOME?
They can go home as early as next week (or Dec 20 & 21). If you want to pick up early on Christmas Eve (Sunday Dec. 24) that could also be arranged but can meet them ahead of time. I work Christmas Day so unless pick up was before 7am that day would not work.
VETTING: The adoption fee includes ALL future vetting. Right now they have their first distemper vaccine, dewormed, and have revolution on for fleas. They are only 7 weeks old and are too young to be fixed now but EVERYTHING is included in the adoption fee! What is included is: spay/neuter, Rabies, remaining 2 distemper Vaccines and microchipping is all included and they would need to come back to us at 4-5 months of age to get it done (we make this appointment work for anyone’s work schedule too). We can talk more about it if you call or text .
****want to fix on own- we do have other options .*****

-If you want to adopt
: 1) please show up with cat carrier.
2) We give you copies of all forms.
3) we take photo of you and newly adopted pet.
4) we go over pet education packet as we do with anyone who adopts from us so you have a successful adoption.
5) adoption fee $100 (includes all future vetting such as, spay, rabies, remaining 2 distemper vaccines, microchipping, deworming). The slightly higher fee is helping us build our cat room which is DESPERATELY needed. We are funded on our own and are all volunteers.
6) We take any kitty back if it isn’t working out . But all kittens need time to adjust

(More on wet food) Pease remember; our cats have a low thirst drive and NEED the moisture in the wet food. Since wet food is 75% moisture and dry food only 10%, that is huge for our felines. Cats need wet food daily to avoid a lot of dehydration related medical problems long term like urinary tract issues which can lead to litter box ovoidance and kidney disease or obesity issues linked to diabetes..
****How much?**** At least one (3oz. can a day but 2 cans recommended) or 1/2 of a 5oz. Can of Friskies pate wet food a day (although one full can, half in morning and other half at night, is recommended ).
