My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Anubis!
Anubis is a true gentleman when it comes to treats, taking them with a soft, respectful manner that`s a joy to witness. Walks with Anubis are a delight. He trots along with an easy grace, never pulling, always enjoying the journey at your side.
He adores being petted, and the way he leans into your hand for more is sure to make you smile. Anubis is more than just a shelter dog; he`s a companion waiting to share a life full of love and joy. His loyalty, gentleness, and friendliness make him the perfect addition to any family. Give Anubis a chance, and he`ll reward you with a lifetime of devotion and unconditional love.

Additional adoption info

If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs....great!! The first step is coming in and meeting the dog in person. If you have any small children or other dogs in the household we do recommend that you bring them in for an introduction. If you are interested we would have you complete an adoption application. We do not require fenced in yards. All dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, heartworm tested and fully vaccinated, and the adoption fee is $125 which also includes a current dog license for Lucas County. We do adopt out of state and to other counties, but the dog would need to leave our facility with a current license. We do hold adoption events and have reduced adoption fees for specials throughout the year. Please check out our FaceBook page for events.
