Buddy is a sweet boy that loves to be with his people. He'll follow you everywhere, just to be nearby.
He's still young enough to enjoy playing and just loves to play Fetch!
Good with Children of all ages. He gives kisses and loves to run around with the kids. This is not very typical of make cockers, so he's a real find!
He came to us as an owner-surrender - he was on a farm-like property, upstate NY with his family of 5 - an infant, a 2-yr-old, and a teenager. He grew up with them, and is very fond of children. However, with the new baby, they felt they couldn't give him the love and attention he needs/deserves.
Because he was on a large property, he would do best in a home with a fenced-in yard. He loves to go out and chase squirrels and other animals away from the property.
He gets along very well with all the other Wigglebutts (other Cockers). He's very polite with them, never causing any trouble. He runs with them in the yard too.
Buddy knows his basic commands, and is well-behaved - for example, he loves a car ride, and will not get out of the car until you take his leash. He's polite around the house too - he automatically sits for treats and waits his turn patiently.
Note that although he has a real grumpy-face in his pics, he's really a happy little guy that loves affection, and returns it. Don't let the pictures fool you!
