My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jayla has been a resident of Cat Kids Rescue for longer than expected and has sadly been overlooked by several could-be families. Originally destined to live her life as part of an outside cat community, Jayla was transferred to Cat Kids Rescue from another rescue group who knew we could help make sure that her future would be living inside as a loving feline family member. She's an adult cat with a heart full of potential. Jayla is shy, often preferring the quiet corners of the room. She's a timid soul, having difficulty in gaining confidence when introduced to new surroundings. But don't let her initial fear mislead you. Behind that shy exterior and sad eyes is a cat waiting to trust, waiting to love. Jayla may require a little patience, a little understanding. But once she lets you in, she promises a bond that's deep and enduring. Adopt Jayla because every cat deserves a chance to trust and be loved.

You can meet Jayla in the adoption center at PetSmart Largo Mall, Largo, FL

Additional adoption info

Cat Kids Rescue adoptions are performed primarily from our partner pet stores. Other adoptions may occur from their foster home. Our valued adopters come to the pet store (or foster home by appointment) to meet cats/kittens and to receive valuable information about the pet. Once a pet has been selected the adopter will complete an adoption contract. The contract will then be approved by the volunteer adoption counselor. The adoption donation fee will be given to the volunteer and the cat/ kitten will be placed in a carrier to be taken home. All cats and kittens are required to go home in an approved carrier.
