My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

welcome saint 💜 this boy came from sterling heights animal control. our vet estimates him to be between 1-2 years old. saint currently weighs 40lbs, up from 32 at shelter intake. he’s a happy go lucky guy, who loves to spend time around people and play with toys. he’ll benefit from a fur sibling and active family. we’re working on our social manners while he’s still intact, but he’s very playful with my dogs. not very interested in kitties, and played respectfully with a pomeranian on his first day out of the clink. 🐶

saint’s neuter appt is scheduled for 12/29, he’ll be microchipped and receive final vaccines. he’s current on prevention and has a recent negative heartworm test. 💉

More about this rescue

District 5 Animal Alliance is a non profit 501c3 organization and our main goal is to save dogs off the streets or crowded shelters. Our dogs come from the Detroit municipal shelter and most are bully breeds at risk of euthanasia. We care for our dogs and believe in neuter and spaying to help our over population problem. We give dogs second chances so they can live a long and happy life and bring joy to their family.
