My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

COURTESY POST. KIZZY IS NOT IN THE CARE OF MENIFEE VALLEY HUMANE SOCIETY. PLEASE CONTACT SHERRI MOORE DIRECTLY I
F YOU ARE INTERETED IN KIZZY (951-757-5664)

Kizzy Cat is looking for her forever home. She was abandoned by her owner when she moved out of state. Kizzy has been in foster care with a very kind lady who has gotten her all of her vaccines and is taking very good care of her. She is now ready to go to a permanent home and she will be spayed before adoption.
Approximately ten years old, bunny soft, and beautiful markings of black and white. Reserved and quiet at first, but she has definitely come out of her shell. Now she loves belly rubs, will lay next to me on the bed, and even lays on top of me. She loves to play in her water bowl and will put both her front paws in so she can splash around. It's just adorable and it makes her happy 😃
I think she will do well being an only pet, but you never know. She would also be great as a one person cat. She warmed up to me fairly quickly. She likes to sit and watch the birds outside the window too.
Please contact me if you're interested in providing a permanent, forever home for Kizzy. Adoption application, home check and veterinary reference required.Adoption applications available online at www.mvhumanesociety.com

Additional adoption info

Interested persons complete an application and if adopting an animal, an adoption contract is completed also. Animals are delivered to new home where all family members including other pets must be present in order to complete adoption. This is to ensure that everyone gets along and to help ensure a successful match and adoption. A followup phone call and visit are made to see how the pet is doing in the new home. All animals are spayed/neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations. Adoption fees vary from $50-$150.

Go meet their pets

By appointment only. We do not have a shelter and rely entirely on our volunteer foster families to provide safe loving homes for animals until they are adopted.

More about this rescue

Founded in 1976, we are an all volunteer animal welfare organization that is dependent on the good will and talents of our friends and volunteers. Our focus is to promote community education on responsible pet care and ownership, which is a lifetime commitment--for the life of the pet. Through education, it is our hope that both children and adults will learn the importance of responsible pet care, including spaying and neutering to help solve the problem of pet overpopulation. Everyone can do their part by taking good care of their pet! Since we have no shelter or facility, any animals we rescue and/or take in are cared for in foster homes until permanent homes can be found.
