My name is Moose, yes it fits me...I'm a big boy! The people who feed me say I need to lose a few pounds but I don't agree. I really like to eat. Even with a recent tooth removal I can still down a bowl of food no problem. Even though I'm a big guy I still think I can fit on your lap and really love a couch snuggle. In my last home I didn't get along so well with my dog sibling so would probably be best in a home by myself where I can get all the attention. I really like a good walk and a little wrestle sessions. Since I'm older and have lived in a few places I'm probably better with older kids. I might really enjoy a quiet home and someone to grow old with me. If you are that special person, reach out to see if we are a good fit!

Adoption fees are based on the breed, health, age, and behavioral status of each dog. All dogs are microchipped, spayed or neutered, vaccinated, flea/worm treated and have had a wellness exam before becoming adoptable. If you are interested in adopting a BHNW dog, please fill out the online application. If you are matched to the dog you are interested in or another dog in our program, you will be contacted by the foster family. Prior to adopting, there is a mandatory home evaluation to ensure your home and family are ready for that dog. We require a contract for all adoptions and there is a two-week trial to ensure a good match. If for any reason you can no longer care for the dog you adopted from us, that dog must be returned to our program.
